The World Languages Department at Grayslake Central strives to inspire in our students a life-long appreciation of cultures, geography and communication and to prepare them to become global citizens who interact in a culturally appropriate manner.  We do this by creating a student-centered environment that promotes authentic communicative opportunities, aligning our lessons to meaningful learning targets and providing our students a variety of opportunities for them to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the language.
